Yesterday I've been at a party at Privilege Inn (Pride Restaurant), Malad, it was a party hosted by HDFC Bank. It was supposed to be my first time at any kind a party involving a complete different level of people. Generally it was little awkward for me to be there and enjoy with these people, to say, they were all HDFC staffs' but for me were a complete unknown.
So, as usual the party started very late, every party starts late, a few gigs from a few people and then everyone was invited to hit the floor. Many hit the floor alright but it seemed a little awkward for me to join them, did feel like shaking the leg here and there but the mind was not with the heart. There were only a few people I really knew, but not really knew them in the real sense. They pulled me to have a dance; I did a little bit, but really could not loose my self into the music.
I had never learnt how to socialise in the first place, the only time I danced socially was at one of my uncles wedding and with my college friends during our sendoff party. Well, if there's a next time, I'd try to my best to at least dance a bit more ;)
